Let’s Face It Skin Essentials Moisturizer
Let’s Face It Skin Essentials Moisturizer is one of the softest and silkiest moisturizers I have ever tried. It is formulated for use on the face, neck, and body.
I did not appreciate the feel of its creamy texture until I used it on my hands. It literally feels like silk.
However, if you plan to use this product for your hands and body, expect to go through it pretty quickly. The net weight of moisturizer in this container is 30 ml.
The packaging is very attractive and sleek. Yes, I am one of those women who go head over heals for super cute packaging! 🙂
The Makers of Let’s Face It Skin Essentials Moisturizer is a US based company that has created safe, natural ingredients in skin care products for over 20 years. They use approved ingredients that do not irritate the skin.
My skin has become less firm over the years. Fine lines have developed under my eyes and around my mouth. This moisturizer promises to firm and repair damaged skin. It also promises to diminish deep lines and wrinkles. It offers everything I need.
It is still too early in the game for me to say that it will remove deep lines, but let’s look at the pros and cons of what I have experienced so far.
Let’s Face It Skin Essentials Moisturizer Pros
As always I like to start out with what I love about a product! If you are looking for a moisturizer that will keep your skin hydrated, this could be a good product for you.
The soft and silky aspects of the product transfers into the skin. My face feels soft and smooth throughout the day. This is a plus since we are experiencing cooler temperatures in Ohio. My skin stays super hydrated all day.
The absorption time into the skin is fast. My skin is not weighed down or greasy. Since this is formulated for all skin types, I have no issues using it on my combination skin.
The Let’s Face It Moisturizer contains, what they call, a groundbreaking formula. It contains matrixyl, a patented pentapeptide, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, green tea extract, witch hazel, and glycerin.
It spite of some complex names here, this moisturizer is free of harmful toxic chemicals.
Matrixyl / Patented Pentapeptide – This specifically targets and stimulates collagen synthesis to repair damage while stimulating the lower layers of skin. It is different than many of the other peptides used in skin care, because its results are long-lasting.
Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 – is an FDA tested product which reduces skin inflammation and the accompanying skin damage. Also, it does stimulate the regeneration of collagen fibers in the dermis by acting as sort of cellular messenger and helps tighten skin.
Green Tea Extract – contains a high amount of antioxidants which improves your skin complexion. It delays signs of skin aging, such as sagging skin, sun damage, age spots, fine lines, dark circles, and wrinkles. It helps shrink blood vessels underneath the delicate skin around the eyes. This in turn reduces swelling, puffiness and reduces inflammation.
Witch Hazel – contains chemicals called tannins, which help reduce swelling, repair broken and tighten skin, and fight bacteria.
Glycerin – treats and prevents dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations, for silky smooth skin.
Tocopheryl Acetate – seals in moisture, softens and hydrates thirsty skin, making your skin feel soft and supple.
All of these ingredients are pros in my book. There are even a few familiar ingredients that I love, shea butter and peppermint oil!
Let’s Face It Skin Essentials Moisturizer Cons
Fortunately I have very few cons with this product. I love giving positive reviews! 🙂
After a few weeks I did not see a visible change in the brightness of my skin. I also could not see a noticeable change in the fine lines under my eyes. That war is still yet to be won.
I am on fence as to whether the Amazon retail price is worth all of its benefits, especially if you’re on a tight budget. I am leaning toward yes, when considering that it is free of toxic chemicals and feels pretty amazing. It currently retails on Amazon for $23.75 and ships free with Amazon Prime.
With a lot of product left after my initial test run, I will continue to use this moisturizer. I am very curious as to its ability to remove deep lines.
