Hair Growth Update | Part Two| Hair Regeneration Herb Tea
Hair growth is one of my main hair goals for 2016. To give my hair a boost I implemented four hair growth methods into my weekly hair care routine.
- The inversion method with coconut oil.
- Hair growth supplements
- Oil blend to prevent split ends
- Hair regeneration herb tea by Health King
Subscribe to the Coconut Beauty newsletter down below for soon to come information on the first three hair growth methods. Note that I am consuming both the herb tea and hair growth supplements concurrently.
My plan is to drink two cups of hair regeneration tea each day for 60 days total. It has been 20 days since I purchased the tea from Lucky Vitamin.
The cost was affordable and the actual taste of the tea isn’t bad. To make it a bit more flavorful you can add organic honey or coconut oil. Both contribute additional health benefits to the tea.
The Health King hair regeneration tea contains a proprietary blend of…
- Privet Root – This herb promotes hair growth and darkening of hair
- Black Sesame – This is an excellent source of magnesium which is beneficial for hair growth and preventing hair loss
- Fo-Ti – Used in traditional Chinese medicine and is said to promote fast hair growth and darkening of the hair.
- Polygonatum Root – This root is said to restore hair color and reduce the signs of aging
- Eleuthero Leaf – Often used as a natural hair loss cure
There are no other added ingredients in the tea. It is important to me to take safe and natural approaches to increasing hair growth.
The tea comes in a box of 20 bags. You simply steep 1 to 2 bags in hot water for 3 minutes or so.
I have not experienced any side effects like skin breakouts or an upset tummy. The tea is quite soothing after a long day.
There were a few days when life was busy enough that I only consumed one cup of tea. Still, I was hoping for more hair growth than normal.
Here was my starting length…my hair is pulled back into a ponytail and pulled forward.Starting Length ~ March 10th, 2016
And here is my length as of March 29th, 2016…again my hair is pulled back into a pony tail and pulled forward. I eye-ball the measurement of my hair by the beauty mark on my chest.March 29th, 2016 Hair Growth Update
As you can see my hair has grown and I have been able to retain length. This is always a plus! 🙂 After suffering with major split ends (well suffering may be too harsh of a word), I am excited to get back in the hair growth starting blocks again.
My final verdict on Health King’s tea will remain on hold until I complete my 60 day challenge. Just wanted to update my progress so far!
Have you tried this or other remedies for hair growth? Did it work for you?
